The Premier Illinois Practice for Implant-Supported Smiles

Single Dental
Implants

A single dental implant restores natural-looking function and appearance without sacrificing the health of neighboring teeth. The implant consists of a screw-like implant post, a connecting abutment that can be separated or built into the implant, and a zirconia crown. The implant is surgically anchored into your jawbone, and after fusion (osseointegration) occurs over a three—to six-month period, a natural-looking restoration can be attached to the abutment.

Dental
Bridges

With traditional bridges, two healthy teeth on each side of the missing tooth must be modified and crowned to support the false tooth (pontic) in the middle. Because the missing tooth root isn’t replaced, bone loss continues under the false tooth.

Implant-supported bridges provide a more permanent option for replacing several missing teeth in a row. The bridge typically comprises two or more zirconia teeth connected and attached to the implant abutments.

Implant-Supported
Dentures

Depending on your preference, implant-supported dentures can be created as removable overdentures or fixed appliances. Denture implants are a more stable option than traditional dentures and stimulate your jawbone.

A fixed implant-supported denture eliminates common issues associated with traditional dentures, including messy adhesives, jawbone shrinkage and undesirable facial changes, gum irritation, slippage, food limitations, nightly removal for cleaning, and periodic relining.

Full Mouth
Dental Implants

Full mouth dental implants provide only permanent tooth replacement if you have many missing/failing teeth or are tired of struggling with traditional dentures. They function like natural teeth once the implant posts fuse with your underlying jawbone and assume the role of your missing tooth roots.

Full mouth dental implants prevent the significant emotional and physical issues associated with extensive tooth loss. Like many patients who received full mouth dental implants at Grand Dental Implant Centers, you’ll enjoy the newfound confidence with a beautifully restored smile and a renewed ability to eat the foods you love and socialize without embarrassment!
